Zeitgeist 2018: Moments
8" x 10.25" print publication, RISO printed publication/ stickers/ postcards, edition of 40, RISO printed with Medium Blue and Fluo. Orange
In 2018, I participated in a project called the Zeitgeist, organized by and with the Emily Carr University of Art + Design Health Lab and the UBC Purdy Pavillon. This was a group project done with Gurjap Kaur and Christine Fwu.
Through collaborative storytelling and multiple co-design sessions, the Zeitgeist project aims to redefine the lens through which we see people with dementia. Rather than focusing on what they are struggling with, we focus on the stories they have to share and the messages they want to tell us. Needless to say, this project was an emotional one for me and my team members; we listened, learned, and laughed through the process of designing this publication with our residents: Penny, Rick, and Vera. If you'd like to know more about the process that went into this publication, view/ download the process book PDF HERE.
